WHere is an easy take on a cocktail featured on our latest cocktail list. Designed as a party-sized pre-mixed that's packed full of tastes of a festive period, which makes it excellent for a celebration. Reserve the remaining citrus syrup you can use for morning drinks, puddings, or to mix additional servings of the drink.

Makes enough for 10 servings
To make the Clementine Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g caster sugar
To make the Cocktail (yields 850ml, serving 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (see above)
Whole cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
Making the Cordial: Put the listed items inside a pot, bring to a gentle boil, mixing to dissolve. After that, take off the heat and leave to cool entirely. Pour into an sealable bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the fridge, where it will keep for up to a month.
Preparing the Batch Mix: Combine every liquids into one big jug, leave to sit for an hour, then strain best through muslin, so it's fully clarified.
For serving: Pour 85ml of your batch mix to a stirring glass filled with ice, gently stirring carefully for one minute to cool it down. Filter to a chilled martini glass or equivalent, garnish with some cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a light spray of the essential oil over the top.
